We’ve developed a strong system to ensure your experience with us is above industry standards. Our support and training will provide you with the tools you will need to operate a successful SoBol.
Our continuous innovation helps franchisees operate more efficiently from your back of house systems to how we communicate with customers. Technology is the foundation of our business. With mobile ordering, loyalty and e-gift cards our customers can order with ease providing franchisees with a happier customer experience
When it is time to secure your location, you will have full access to our Full-Time, In-house Development Team. This includes our COO, Development Manager and Corporate Real Estate Agent. Our services will provide you with our team of professionals to support you in selecting the best location for you, negotiating your lease agreement terms, while helping build a strong relationship with your future Landlord.
Having a deep understanding of the SoBol Brand is a must when it comes to joining our family. In order for you to fully understand our product and operations we’ve created an extensive training program for all SoBol operators and management.
Once you’ve been approved to open, you will be accompanied by our team at your store to help prepare you for your grand opening. The week prior to opening, you will receive our support in training your staff, marketing your event, and ordering your initial inventory. Post opening you will continue to be accompanied by our support staff for two weeks to support in scheduling, inventory management, and operational excellence.
Being a part of our family means constant support by our team. We differ from other brands by offering complimentary re-training of you and your staff for NO EXTRA CHARGE. We encourage you to utilize our LMS software along with our SoBol Success Managers to ensure new and existing employees are trained properly and re-trained on a regular basis.

Introductory call with SoBol Sales Team Member.
We’ll chat with you about the general qualification requirements, both financial and operational, your territory of interest and your development goals. We’ll also walk through the process involved in owning a SoBol.
After our phone call if you feel you want to learn more, we will send you the SoBol Franchise Application.
Once we receive your completed questionnaire and confidential disclosure document, we will forward you our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for review. This document explains the SoBol franchise in detail and includes a generic copy of the franchise agreement that you would sign if you were to move forward. You will review the FDD with our Director of Franchise Sales as a critical part of your due-diligence helping you make the best decision possible.
Discovery Day, approval and sign agreements.
The final step in our approval process is the Discovery Day where we invite you to our headquarters in Patchogue, New York. The Discovery Day meeting is a two-way qualification process and an opportunity for both parties to get to know one another. The day includes conversations and Q&A with the executive team, department heads and a tour of SoBol’s in the area. We will discuss the pre and post opening support you will receive as a member of our family, and next steps. Once you have been approved, your franchise agreements will be sent to you.
Build your business and prepare to open!
Schedule a real estate tour with our Development Team to identify the best location to start. From there you will begin preparing your grand opening and launch your SoBol!
Your initial investment and the costs necessary to begin operating a single SoBol could range from $240,800-$450,600 Actual costs will vary for each cafe depending on a number of factors, including market conditions and the geographic location of your restaurant, as well as the amount of construction work necessary for the site to be built out.
The initial franchise fee is $30,000 for a single unit. Single and multi-unit development is available.
Active duty military and veterans receive 5% off of the initial franchise fee.
Royalty – 5% of Net Sales
Brand Development – 1% of Net Sales
THE MINIMUM FINANCIAL REQUIRMENTS FOR A SOBOL CAFE:
Liquid assets of at least $200,000
A net worth of $350,000
Willingness to make a commitment to this venture.
